Cezar Kuzma holds a Ph.D. in Theology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro currently is a professor-researcher of the Graduate Program in Theology and the Theology Course at the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUCPR) in Curitiba, Brazil. He was a Member of the Board of the Knowledge Management Center of CELAM, from 2023 to 2027, held a visiting professor fellowship at the Jesuit Institute at Boston College in 2022, and was President of SOTER (Society of Theology and Religious Sciences) from 2016–2022. In 2024, he was appointed as a member of the Editorial Board of the journal Concilium and the Caritas Theological Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean. In February of 2025, he was elected as new executive coordinator of the WFTL/FMTL (World Forum on Theology and Liberation).
Cezar Kuzma es doctor en Teología por la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Río de Janeiro y actualmente es profesor-investigador del Programa de Posgrado en Teología y del Curso de Teología de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Paraná (PUCPR) en Curitiba, Brasil. Fue miembro de la Junta Directiva del Centro de Gestión del Conocimiento de la CELAM, de 2023 a 2027, obtuvo una beca como profesor visitante en el Instituto Jesuita del Boston College en 2022 y fue presidente de la SOTER (Sociedade de Teologia e Ciências da Religião) de 2016 a 2022. En 2024 fue nombrado miembro del Consejo Editorial de la revista Concilium y de la Comisión Teológica de Cáritas para América Latina y el Caribe. En febrero de 2025 fue elegido nuevo coordinador ejecutivo del WFTL/FMTL (Foro Mundial sobre Teología y Liberación).
